Are there any mom's group trying to influence the more modest clothing 5-12 years?
I have read this article in Family Circle called too sexy too soon and was just confirmed what I saw. My daughter is moving in size 5/5T and there is a marked tendency to Hannah Montana and High School Musical and skirts barely cover their buttocks. What does this mean? In Kohl, s there is a line of bras and underwear are sold candy for girls who are sexy. Is there Mom's a group out there that are trying to influence designers to make more modest clothes for girls? store anywhere rather than mostly clothes whore? Do not want to be negative against Kohl's ... I like clothes in general. However, we still do not think a pre-teen needs a pink lace bra, especially if no chest to put in it! I think a group, but I'm not sure to include. I have links to good information. Ideas?
Most shops have the clothes that sexualize girls. We have never had trouble finding appropriate clothing for our best t - are teenagers. She dresses modestly and well and has never had problems to find appropriate clothing. Most items are not appropriate in front of the store. With respect to a group of mothers - all of us. Stores that sell what consumers buy. If people stop buying sexual clothing, shopping is not for sale. It is for us as individuals. All the best.
